Devon FA secures Devonshire Homes sponsorship for u16 girls’ team
Devon Schools Football Association (Devon FA) has announced an exciting new sponsorship deal with independent Westcountry housebuilder, Devonshire Homes.
The award-winning housebuilder has provided funds to the Devon FA to purchase new jackets and jumpers for the u16 girls’ team.
Tiverton based Devonshire Homes is an award-winning housebuilder committed to building high-quality new homes throughout the Westcountry. The company has been creating new communities across the South West since 1992 and actively supports charities and fundraising events across the region. Devonshire Homes is a wholly owned subsidiary of London and Devonshire Trust.
The Devon FA, founded in 1888, is a not-for-profit body responsible for the development and governance of grassroots football in Devon. The Association works with the FA to deliver the national game strategy in the county in line with its vision of enhancing lives through football.
Its u16 girls’ team is experiencing a very successful season. Through to the quarter final of the English Schools FA National Cup, the team will travel to face Surrey in early January. In the South West Counties Championship, the team has won both games played so far in the group stage with one more game to play, ensuring they are well on track to progress to the semi-final stage. The girls hope to go all the way again this year after being crowned champions of the South West Counties last season.
