The team at Johnson’s Apparalmaster’s Exeter laundry were delighted to be honoured recently with the Freight Transport Association’s (FTA) prestigious Tachograph Compliance Award. Darlington actress, Jade Byrne, heads off on a special UK tour this year as Pricks, a medical play (with a difference) about Type 1 Diabetes, takes in a dozen dates from Hexham to Exeter Phoenix (on 16 May) and a few in-between.

At 33-years-old Jade has been an actress for nine years (appearing in the likes of Inspector George Gently, Casualty and Mount Pleasant), and a Type 1 diabetic for the past 30 (just ask her stage companion, Dennis the Menace, he’s been there from the beginning).

Stagecoach South West re-launches Night Bus in Torbay

This spring, Stagecoach South West is reintroducing a late-night bus service for Torbay residents.

The N12 will operate every 30 minutes, between Newton Abbot, Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, from the late evening of Friday and Saturday nights until around 0430 the following day.

The service will launch on the evening of Good Friday, 19th April, just as the busy Easter holidays begin, and is expected to be popular with both local residents and visitors, wishing to leave the car at home and enjoy a night out in the Torbay area.
