Pink Fizz will bring added 'pop' to the 2018 Twilight Walk

Women and girls we have a date for your diaries! Saturday 7th July sees the return of the annual Hospiscare Twilight Walk . This year’s theme is “Pink Fizz”, so dig out all things pink to wear and there will be a glass of 'fizz' waiting for you on your return. The walk is once again kindly sponsored by Western Power Distribution.

The sponsored walk starts from The Maer, Exmouth and both routes take in stunning views of the coast. There will be entertainment at the start and along the route, and a well-deserved glass of 'fizz', a bacon sandwich and a cuppa at the end.

RGB Building Supplies offers £1000 to help with a spring spruce up

Despite the current cold spell, RGB Building Supplies is looking forward to the warmer weather by asking community groups, charities and schools in the Exeter area to get in contact and tell it about spring projects as part of its Well Built Community Fund giveaway.

On offer is £1,000 to spend on building materials at an RGB branch to help a group possibly transform an outdoor area, or maybe give a community centre a spring spruce up; whatever the need, RGB would like to hear about it.

Premiership Champions Exeter Chiefs recently swapped their training ground at Sandy Park, Exeter for the award-winning Salcombe Distilling Co. in the beautiful seaside town of Salcombe. Contract to refurbish Market Walk shopping centre in Newton Abbot awarded to Exeter based firm

The contract to refurbish Newton Abbot’s Market Walk shopping centre has been awarded to South West construction company Classic Builders, who have offices in Exeter, by Teignbridge District Council.

The shopping centre, which was acquired by the council in 2016 in a record deal, will be transformed to offer a ‘brighter and lighter’ shopping experience which the council hope will, ‘attract locals and visitors to the heart of the town.’
