On Sunday 7 January 2018, an official ribbon-cutting ceremony was carried out by the South East Devon Habitat Regulations Executive Committee (SEDHREC): Cllr Rachel Sutton (representing Chair Cllr Daniel Gottschalk) for Exeter City Council, Cllr Humphrey Clemens for Teignbridge District Council and Cllr Phil Twiss for East Devon District Council.

Rotary renew Youth Games support

Rotary in the South West Peninsula have agreed a partnership with the South West Youth Games Trust to support their events through to the 2019 season. Rotary have previously supported the Games in 2015 and 2016 and have renewed their support for 2018 and 2019. The Games are the largest youth community sports event in the region and are celebrating their 20th edition this year. More than 100 key business contacts from Exeter and Devon attended Sandy Park’s third Network at Sandy Park event on Thursday 18th January. Exeter Language Club opens

Exeter has launched the new educational project Exeter Language Club, aimed to support and further develop local community. Exeter Language Club had its first public event on Saturday 13th of January 2018. Four more Chiefs players agree new deals

Club captain Jack Yeandle heads up a list of four Exeter Chiefs players who have today penned new deals with the Aviva Premiership champions.

The 28-year-old hooker, together with fellow front-row forwards Greg Holmes, Elvis Taione and Harry Williams, have become the latest squad members to commit their futures to the Chiefs.

Yeandle has signed a new three-year deal keeping him at Sandy Park until 2021, while international trio Holmes, Taione and Williams have all agreed two-year deals.
