Exeter City are delighted to welcome the crew of HMS Defender to the fixture against Rotherham at St James’ Park this weekend. Large concrete sections have now started arriving on site at the Clyst Honiton Bypass to create a tunnel. The tunnel which is a safety measure at the foot of Exeter Airport’s runway, will comprise of 44 sections or arches which will create an 80 metre long tunnel. Once complete the bypass will take traffic away from the local roads of Clyst Honiton and provide access to key employment sites.

Local removals company Van Man Exeter has helped charity Surf Life Saving GB move into new offices for free, after a fire at its Exeter headquarters on 2nd November.
The charity has moved next door from its previous office on Southernhay, after being told the whole building will be out of action until at least March 2013.
