Widely regarded as one the finest musicians of his generation, Julian Lloyd Webber has crafted one of today’s most successful careers in classical music.

He has premiered more than 50 works for cello and inspired new compositions from composers as diverse as Malcolm Arnold, Joaquin Rodrigo and Philip Glass. He has collaborated with an extraordinary array of musicians and his many recordings have met wide acclaim.

Julian has been vice-president of the Delius Society since dedicating himself to performing the cello works in 1971 at his London recital debut.
