The show has been running in the run up to Christmas for eight successful years and has showcased the work of many artists not previously known to the wider audience.

Ceramics, Texiles, Glass, jewellery, wood and metal crafting are traditionally represented at this exhibition, plus the odd quirky item that goes beyond classification!

Ottery St Mary Christmas Tree Festival

The Friends of Ottery St Mary Parish Church welcome everyone to their 2012 Christmas Tree Festival held in the church from 28th November 2010 - 2nd December.

This year will be 44 Christmas Trees at the church with town shops and local organizations all involved. The event will be open daily from 10am-6pm except Sunday when the trees will be available to see from noon. A Christmas Tree Festival not to be missed!

Following just 24 days of swift composition in 1741, the premiere of Handel's Messiah was so oversubscribed that gentlemen were requested to remove their swords and ladies asked not to wear hoops in their dresses to allow as many people as possible to attend. Since then, the work has become a firm favourite with audiences around the world with the Hallelujah chorus especially loved.

Exeter Festival Chorus: Christmas Jazz at the Cathedral

Exeter Festival Chorus are branching out into the world of jazz for their Christmas concert this year. The programme will feature the legendary Duke Ellington's Sacred Concert, one of the three concerts of sacred music he created between 1965 and 1973.

Besides this work, there'll be music with an international Christmas feel, and spots for the band, the choir and the audience.

Interfaith Celebration at Exeter University's Lemon Grove

A day of celebration is planned for Saturday 24th November at The Lemon Grove, Exeter University Campus, bringing together the diverse communities of Devon for a day of education, fun activities, workshops, and presentations.

Come along to Woodbury's annual Christmas art and craft fayre on 1st December for some early Christmas shopping.

There will be lots of festive gifts by local crafters on sale including soft toys, ponchos, leather-bound paper books, teddy bears, wooden toys, vintage stalls, colourful festive papier-mache ornaments, Christmas decorations, cards, paper, cheeseboards, wooden bowls, plants, jewellery, hats, handbags and lots more.

There will be Christmas carols, mulled wine and mince pies, teas and coffees. All funds go to St Swithun's Church.
