Devon County Antiques Fairs will be organising another one of their popular events at RHS Garden Rosemoor on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October.

Two men due in court following Honiton robbery

Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery at an antiques shop in Honiton. The incident took place at Banwell Antiques on Saturday, March 22 2014 as a female staff member, who was working alone, opened up the store at around 9am. Edward O’Hare, age 45 from London, has been charged with robbery (following his extradition from Belgium).

Kevin Neal, age 52 from London, was also charged with robbery.

Both men are due to appear at Exeter Crown Court on 14 November 2014.

The Antiques Roadshow has come to Exeter.

The BBC television show, now into its 36th series, will see some of the UK’s top experts in antiques and fine arts offering free valuations to anyone who attends. By 9am the queue was already several hundred strong with people and antiques stretching around Exeter Cathedral Green.
