Washington Green, the UK’s leading fine art publishers, has announced the launch of its ‘Summer Exhibition 2016’.
Now in its third year, the month-long exhibition will take place from Saturday 30th July – Sunday 28th August at Castle Fine Art in Birmingham’s International Convention Centre. Teignmouth-based art group Flying Colours has won the opportunity to display their work in Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum. Their exhibition will be from Saturday 30 April to Sunday 29 May.

Exeter School’s Art Department is delighted to announce that two A Level Art pupils were prize winners at ‘The Exeter Art Show’ held on 4 and 5 July at The Maynard School.
Miles Johal in the Lower Sixth was awarded first prize for his semi-abstract acrylic painting of architectural features, winning £250.
Miles visited the exhibition on Saturday and said: “it was a lovely surprise to discover that I had won the prize, particularly given the wide range and high standard of pupil work on display.”
Clara Finnigan in the Upper Sixth was also a prize winner, coming third...
A fantastic opportunity to view the work of over 100 artists in the centre of Exeter.
With a vast choice of media, from ceramics to oil paintings, sculpture to automata; visitors can buy at prices to suit every pocket, from £10 to £10,000.
This event is being organised by The Maynard School and all the commission raised will be donated to the Children’s Hospice South West and to an Art Bursary for a Sixth Form student to attend the school.

The Kenn Art Show was founded in 2006 and, since then, it has grown into a successful and prestigious bi-annual event. Profits from the show will be going to St. Andrew’s Church in Kenn, and to the Kenn Centre, where the show is taking place this year.

Come and join us for a glass of wine to celebrate the opening of two major exhibitions this summer. Over fifty pieces by Devon Artist Network (DAN) members will be on display in Gallery Two while the rest of the gallery will be full of works exploring the theme of colour. This is a great opportunity to find new emerging talent while enjoy displays from more established artists Yvonne Coomber, Daniel Holme-Adams and Ashley Hanson.
Exeter Community Centre holds four-month exhibitions of painting, drawing, photography, print and a few ceramics. The work is curated from submissions and is open for anyone to apply. There is a Hanging Policy regarding content, but a very open-minded approach to form.
Exhibitions are rolling, every 4 months. The next is from 2nd-3rd February 2013. There are no charges for exhibiting or commission taken for any sales.
Artists are required to have their own PPL insurance and further insurance at their own discretion.
