1939. On board a decadent cruise liner, the world chess champion is challenged to a match by the mysterious ‘B’. It soon becomes clear that the game is not the only thing B’s at risk of losing. For he’s not just one person, but four. And they each have their own version of the story they want to tell. With a live jazz percussive score, this is a tale of madness and memory, adapted from Stefan Zweig’s The Royal Game.

Upper Sixth pupils Daniel Hambly and Clara Finnigan have been offered degree places for September 2015 at The Architecture Association and the London College of Fashion, respectively.

Arts and community folk from across South Devon are being invited to come along to the Pavilions Teignmouth Open House event on Saturday 28 March. The free event is being held at The Riviera Bar Cafe, Teignmouth from 1-3.30pm.
Work started on Pavilions Teignmouth last month. The multi-million pound community, arts and development centre, being built by Teignbridge Council, is due to open in Spring 2016. The centre will be run by a charitable trust.

Local artists have again been brightening up the corridors of the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with their annual Friends and Family art exhibition.
Now in its 16th year, the exhibition has been organised by Exeter HealthCare Arts to showcase the work of the local arts community who have a connection to the hospital.
