The Harry Cunningham Trust, which raises money for Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital’s neonatal unit, is staging a glitzy celebrity ball, open to the public, in Exeter’s Sandy Park.
The trust, set up in 2012, aims to raise awareness of vasa praevia, a rare but deadly condition affecting unborn children where vital blood vessels block the birth canal, resulting in severe complications. The trust was begun after the condition led to the tragic death of Harry Cunningham, the son of trustee and founder Niki Cunnigham, at just 26 hours old.
Following the massive success of the last eight celebratory balls hosted at Sandy Park, Exeter based charity Dream-A-Way would like to invite you to join them for their amazing Diamonds are Forever Ball on Friday 17 October 2014.
On arrival you will be entertained and amused by the extremely talented Jazz Lounge whilst enjoying your complimentary cocktail.
This will be followed by a delicious dinner and dancing into the small hours to music from fantastic local band The Late Shift and the inimitable Nick Coles - Man on Fire, generously sponsored again by Timepiece, Exeter...
Exeter based charity Dream-A-way is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and now the “Dream Team” have even more reason to celebrate as their very special 20th Birthday Ball was a massive success and a record breaker in terms of fundraising.
The event, held at Sandy Park, was greatly enjoyed by nearly 300 guests and raised a record breaking total exceeding £21,000!
To put this sum into perspective these monies have already enabled the charity to purchase a brand new, specially adapted, disabled caravan at Sandy Bay which will ensure they are able to provide holidays...
Exeter City Captain Danny Coles and main event sponsor Dean Croft of Paramount Personnel are backing the second Charity Spring Ball which will be held in a Grand Marquee in the fountain centre at St James Park on Sunday 28TH April. After last years event this years is expecting to be bigger and better with the theme being "Glitz & Glamour" with local company stage engage supplying this years lighting and staging which will add an extra dimension to the event.

The Rambunctious social club bring their unique blend of magic into an exuberant night of Mariachi mash-up, live music, dancefloor dizziness, live art and interactive play... throw out your greys, come and dress up and celebhrate wtih the dead.
A share of the profits will go to the charity Dame Hannah Rogers Trust.
