The Exetreme Imagination Festival comes to Exeter Cathedral!
Together, our aim is to promote creative writing for and by young people, as well as for older generations who wish to reminisce over their own childhood memories and writings.
We are excited to offer a number of workshops and activities over the half term week, hosted by three prominent, local children’s authors who live in or come from Devon.

Volunteers at A la Ronde, the National Trust property near Exmouth, are busy sorting books of all shapes and sizes, titles and themes ready for the forthcoming season.
Salli Carr-Griffin, Assistant Property Manager, says: “The second-hand book sale area in the house is in its fifth year and is hugely popular. We raised over £9,000 through it last year, so we are asking our supporters to sort out their book shelves once again and donate any surplus books they may have. Funds raised go towards conservation work of the unique and quirky collection in the house”.
The National Childbirth Trust is holding their next Nearly New Sale from 11.30am - 1.30pm. Items available will include baby, toddler & children's clothes, equipment, toys, books and maternity wear. £1 entry fee. NCT members are entitled to priority entry with a valid NCT membership card.
We've been donated a huge selection of second-hand bird books, covering all areas of the world. Some of them are quite common, some of them are really rare, so come along and have a browse - prices range from £1 to £100!
All profits go to our fantastic conservation projects.
