For the past 8 years, Guide Dogs and TenPin Exeter have collaborated on a very successful fundraising evening. What began as a request for Raffle Prizes for another occasion, has turned into an annual event supported by staff, volunteers, friends & local businesses.

Car dealer's decade of sponsorship

A car dealer in Exeter is big on being green, so sponsoring a local bowls tournament has proved the perfect match.

JFE Nissan Exeter, on the Marsh Barton Trading Estate, has celebrated 10 years of supporting the annual ISCA Bowling Competition, providing cash prizes for the winners.

At this year’s event players from across the region came to compete on the bowling greens, with a team from Exmouth eventually scooping the title.

Trust therapy staff bowled over by generosity of Exonia Bowling Club

Exonia Bowling Club in Exeter has donated more than £1,000 to support local people with multiple sclerosis.

Club president Kate Caldwell chose the community rehabilitation team at Mardon Neurological Centre as her charity of the year – and members helped to raise £1,105.

Kate has been receiving therapy from the team, which is part of the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust.

She praised the individualised service she had received at the centre and asked for the donation to be used to provide greater support to people with MS.
