There’s never a dull moment for the trailblazing Tribe of environmental consultants at Tyler Grange Exeter.

As well as creating and honing innovation across their business for the four-day working week pilot , the Kings Wharf-based business has just launched two seasonal low-carbon and environmentally conscious beers – Bramble and Solstice.

The environmental planning firm has been busy brewing ale since 2017, and, in keeping with its very real and visible values, it’s committed to doing so with the smallest possible carbon impact.

Hanlons Brewery

Love your local: Have one for yourself!

As Samuel Johnson once said. ‘There is nothing which has yet been contrived by man, by which so much happiness is produced as by a good tavern.’ We at Hanlons Brewery emphatically agree with the considered opinion of such an esteemed scholar and would also humbly add that we too, ‘bloody love pubs’.

Recent events have proved to be a uniquely challenging experience for the U.K’s Hospitality sector and in particular the pubs which make up a huge part of our national life. As well as providing jobs for millions of people, contributing greatly to the economic success of our country and...

RSPCA staff have been left scratching their heads after a string of call-outs to collect ‘drunk’ gulls.

The animal welfare charity is concerned that the birds have been gaining access to waste products from a local brewery or alcohol producer which has been making them ill.

RSPCA officers Jo Daniel, Clara Scully and Paul Adams have collected a number of birds exhibiting the same symptoms in recent weeks.

“We have had a number of these come through over the last couple of weeks,” Inspector Daniel said. “We think they’re gaining access to some brewing waste products...

After starting production of its award-winning ales using water from the borehole on its farm in Half Moon Village, near Exeter, it’s next ‘green’ step forward has been to generate the electricity to power its machinery from a tailored-made solar PV system on the brewery’s roof. “It all...
