Following on from the success of our event earlier in the year, this festive makeover is aimed at helping you look and feel amazing for the festive season and beyond.

The afternoon event starts at 2pm and will be opened by Exeter City’s director of football and former Tottenham Hotspur player Steve Perryman with Exeter City star player Alan Gow. Judi Spiers will open the evening event at 6pm.

Wrap Up and Run Exeter 10k Sunday March 24th 2013

Registration now open for the 2013 Exeter Business Games

Following the huge success of the 2012 Exeter Business Games , businesses in Exeter are being encouraged to register for the 2013 Games.

24 teams from Exeter-based businesses took part in the 2012 games and with matched funding from Thomson Reuters, this year’s participants raised over £5000 for local charity The Exeter Foundation .

The Exeter Business Games will take place during May and June 2013, comprising of various events such as Ten-Pin Bowling, a Pub Quiz and Boat Racing on the Exe.

Exeter Round Table’s charity fireworks display

Exeter Round Table’s Annual charity fireworks display is being held at Westpoint again this year.

This spectacular event has grown to become the biggest fireworks display in Exeter, and taken on a new dimension since moving to Westpoint three years ago.

Expect a great fun night out for everyone with fairground rides, food and drink stalls and of course a spectacular fireworks display by Firemagic (UK) Ltd.

Gates open at 5.30pm, fireworks display starts at 7.30pm.

Autumn Craft Fair at Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary

The Donkey Sanctuary holds it's autumn craft fair on Saturday.

The indoor craft fair is a fundraising event and a great opportunity to purchase gifts, including handmade jewellery, cheeses, scarves and pashminas, skincare treats, wood turned items, art, homemade jams and chutneys.

You will also be able to have a go at willow weaving with workshops running throughout the day.

Refreshments will be available, including a barbecue.

Exeter Firewalk for MS Society

Would you like to walk on fire? Take your chance at an MS Society Firewalk, where you'll walk 20 feet across burning embers.

On the night, participants will undergo a two hour training session to prepare them for the challenge of stepping onto embers burning at around 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Event details The registration fee is £25 per person, and we ask you to raise a minimum £125 to help support people with MS.

Theatre company’s bumper cheque for Hospiscare

The New Ottregians, a theatre company based in Ottery St Mary, have presented a cheque for £5,300 to Hospiscare, which provides end-of-life care for local patients and their families, following their incredibly successful production of Me and My Girl at the King’s School, in July.

Helena and Toni Williams-Pugh, who run the theatre company, made the presentation to Margery Whittington, from the local Hospiscare volunteer group, and Nick Agg-Manning, a trustee of the charity, which provides end-of-life care for local patients and their families.

Firewatch encourages people to walk over hot coals for charity

Staff from a local fire protection services company have come up with a novel way of raising money for charity - instead of preventing a fire from happening, they will be walking across it. Firewatch South West, which is based in Newton Abbot, has joined forces with the West of England School and College, its charity of the year, to hold a firewalk.
