The Exeter Children’s Orchestra began as an educational project at the old St Luke’s Teacher Training College but soon grew into a highly successful orchestra with a regular membership of about 100 children and young people. The Orchestra plays a constantly changing and varied range of music from classical to jazz, film and TV theme tunes to opera!

Liederkranz Germania Choir and Exeter Children’s Orchestra
2015 is the 50th anniversary of twinning between Exeter and the German city of Bad Homburg and to celebrate this event a special concert has been arranged with the Liederkranz Germania Choir and Exeter Children's Orchestra. The Liederkranz Germania Choir with around 80 active members is based in the village of Ober-Erlenbach just outside Bad Homburg and dates back to 1842.
