Each month “Stitching with Liz and Helen” offers a day class in embroidery.
Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
Classes are on either Saturdays or Sundays. In September there will be the chance to stitch a sunflower brooch.
October will be a goldwork spider to celebrate Hallowe’en. In November we will take time out from stitching to look at how to plan an embroidery project.
We will end the year with an “Embroidery Potpourri”: stitch a simple brooch, or a badge, or a bauble for the tree.
The tutors and students from the British Academy of Floral Art, based in Dunchideock, Exeter, who have been Chelsea Flower Show Gold winners on several occasions, will be putting together an amazing array of floral arrangements and displays in the Church taking visitors on a journey of discovery through floral interactive designs, using the five human senses of sight, hearing, small, taste and touch.

The Summer Show is the longest running Devon Guild exhibition, launched in 1955 to celebrate the skills and original work of long-standing Guild Members through to the newest faces.
