A late night shopping evening, organised with the support of nearly all the town’s shops and other businesses, the Chamber of Commerce and the Crediton Courier will take place until 8pm on Friday 7th December.
Many shops will be providing drinks and nibbles. The Crediton Town Band and Mellow D will be performing at various locations around the High Street.
Santa will make an appearance in Evans newsagents and pubs and restaurants will also be open.

CODS, The Crediton Operatic and Drama Society, put on an amazing first ever performance of this fasinating musical story. The evening started with a Champagne reception and gave a chance to meet the people behind the event.
As the box office for the show, Olivia James Design are both happy and sad to say that all four shows have been sold out.
Crediton's Christmas Tree Festival takes place from Thursday 6th December to Sunday 9th December.
This year 72 decorated and illuminated trees will fill the church. There will be tours of the church, stalls, an exhibition of photos taken by members of Crediton Photography Club and refreshments in the nearby Boniface Centre.
Opening hours are 11am-6pm Thursday and Friday, 10.30am-7pm Saturday and 2pm-5pm Sunday and admission is free.
