The Cut Purse Rascals’ distinct sound is firmly rooted in the late 60s / early 70s. The Rascals take the Westcountry as their musical canvas and they pen narratives about the people and places this rich landscape has to offer. Their songs are laden with catchy hooks and choruses that have people singing along after just one listen. Strong musical influences include The Band and Crosby Stills & Nash, as well as contemporary...

“Their music may be heavily influenced by folk, but their vocal interplay takes its cue from the soul stylings of superstars Destiny's Child and En Vogue.” (Coventry Telegraph).
