RGB relaunches community fund

Due to the overwhelming success of RGB Building Supplies’ Well Built Community Fund, the builders' merchant is delighted to announce that they are relaunching it and will be giving away a further £1,000 worth of building materials every other month until March next year.

Having made donations to a charity, a sports club, school, community group and care home last year, RGB will be calling out for different deserving groups to make contact with them this year and tell them how they can help.

Busy spring for countryside rangers

Rangers from East Devon District Council’s Countryside team have been out and about over recent weeks sharing their knowledge with visitors to Bicton College and Cranbrook. Start up record for Devon businesses

Devon has smashed the record for the number of new businesses launched in the area in a single year, according to new research. Statistics, compiled by www.informdirect.co.uk , have revealed that there were 5,501 companies formed in 2014, up from a previous best of 5,280. This brings the total number of businesses operating in the region to a high of 42,661. There are now 4.4% more active companies than there were a year ago and 28% more than there were five years ago.
