Starting a Stamp Club/Philatelic Society in Exeter was very high on the Agender of the Wessex Philatelic Federation at their AGM on Saturday 1st September at the URC in Exeter.

Throughout July, work has taken place at Seaton Wetlands to remove overhead power cables and move them underground. The work has caused disruption to visitors who were unable to access the site car park for most of the month. The work culminated in late July when a helicopter flew over the wetlands to remove the electricity posts.
The site is now open to visitors as usual and the overhead power cables which used to stretch across the Axe Valley have now been removed.
