Exeter could get a stunning new waterside feature.
Plans have been submitted to build a brand new bridge and boardwalk down on Exeter’s Quayside. The new structure would replace the existing Mallison Bridge which spans the medieval leats on the north bank of the River Exe. The bridge had to be repaired in March 2017 after some wooden sections became rotten. After work was carried out, it became apparent that a long-term solution was needed.
