The Donkey Sanctuary will be celebrating World Donkey Day (8 May) as part of the charity’s 34 years celebrating Donkey Week from the 3 – 10 May, with events and activities highlighting the work and the contribution donkeys make to humans all over the world.

The Donkey Sanctuary is holding an Equine Fair on Saturday 11th October from 10am to 4pm.
The fair features a packed programme of demonstrations and talks on equine health from vets, massage therapists and other experts and includes treatments on real life donkeys.

Christmas is a magical time of year for all of us, and the staff at Angela court always try to make Christmas as special as possible for the residents that stay with them.

The Donkey Sanctuary holds it's autumn craft fair on Saturday.
The indoor craft fair is a fundraising event and a great opportunity to purchase gifts, including handmade jewellery, cheeses, scarves and pashminas, skincare treats, wood turned items, art, homemade jams and chutneys.
You will also be able to have a go at willow weaving with workshops running throughout the day.
Refreshments will be available, including a barbecue.
