Friday Night Fever is coming to St James Park for the first time since 2007 and Exeter City are hoping to give both regular fans and new ones something to dance about.
Exeter City can confirm that midfielder Elliott Frear has extended his loan with Salisbury City until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old initially joined the Whites on loan at the end of October, and has helped them to command the top spot in the Blue Square Bet South. His goal against Staines Town two weeks ago was his first for the club, putting Salisbury on course to a 3-1 win.
And now the winger is set to remain at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium until the end of the 2012/13 campaign, as the Whites – who were only promoted from the Southern League in 2011 – look to gain...
Exeter manager Paul Tisdale is pleased that his team hasn’t been disrupted by bids from rival clubs for any of his star players.
With the January transfer window closing this evening, and the inevitable clock-watching by fans of every team across the country, a lack of activity has been welcomed by Tis. Myles Anderson and Mark Molesley have bolstered an already-strong squad this window, and thankfully there have been no departures from St James Park.
“Fortunately, we’ve had no offers for players,” said Tis. “I was hoping that we wouldn’t have a late offer and then a period of...
Sidmouth College and Exeter City Football Club have been forced to postpone their upcoming schools football tournament and opening evening, due to the recent poor weather in East Devon.
The college, who are currently actively recruiting school-leavers for their new academy partnership with Exeter City, was due to host the tournament today (Wednesday 23rd January). However the decision has been taken to call off the competition and to rearrange it for a later date, which will be announced in due course.
As a consequence, the opening evening – which was due to take place...

Futsal is a small-sided, indoor game which is growing in popularity both as an excellent way of improving football skills and as a fun, exciting game in its own right.

After bringing back six points from two tough away games at Bradford and Gillingham, Exeter manager Paul Tisdale is looking forward to the visit of Rotherham this afternoon.
A thumping 5-0 loss away at Dagenham for Rotherham was followed up by a 4-2 win against Cheltenham last weekend – but that was shortly followed by a home loss to basement club Wycombe, summing up the Millers’ unpredictability this season.
The Millers have a game in hand over most clubs in League Two, but their inconsistent form has seen them slip into mid-table despite being many people’s tip for...
For ten years Exeter City FC has been proving that a football club owned by its supporters can be successful. This has not been easy, particularly as many of City’s rivals have considerable money available to them which is ploughed in by an owner who all too often can bankrupt the club when they get tired of their plaything; and who very often does not have the interests of ordinary supporters at heart.
Despite often being at a financial disadvantage to their rivals, Exeter City FC has enjoyed some fantastic moments whilst under the ownership of its fans. The famous draw against...

Exeter City Football Club has introduced a new Priority system for ticketing, as well as a guide to game categories.
After speaking and consulting with fans, the decision was taken to put into place a new, simple and comprehensive way of giving supporters Priority status for games when tickets are in high demand or restricted, both home and away (such as derby matches and high-profile cup games).
The Club says: "We are confident that in practice this will allow fans fair access tickets for high-demand games and provide a clear indication of their availability. Where supply...
