People in Exeter are being given the chance to quiz councillors on any key issues for the city.
Exeter residents are invited to put forward questions to members of the joint County and City Councils' Exeter Board, at their next meeting on 17 February at 5:30pm at the Civic Centre in Paris Street.
The Board allocates 15 minutes for their ‘open forum’, with three minutes per speaker, with a maximum of three to four speakers to allow time for discussion.

The improvements are part of a Masterplan for the two Valley Parks and will be discussed at Exeter City Council’s Executive on Tuesday (9 February).
Cllr Keith Owen, Lead Councillor for Health & Place, said: “One of the elements of the masterplan is to mitigate against the...
Job Seeker Allowance (JSA) figures released on 18 January show that Exeter has the lowest levels of unemployment since current records began in 1992.
This allowance is payable to people under pensionable age who are available for, and actively seeking, work of at least 40 hours a week.
Figures for the Exeter Local Authority’s region in December 2015 when compared to equivalent figures in December 2014 and December 2005 show how things have changed in the city in the last year and in the last 10 years:
Outline planning permission was granted last night (Wednesday 20 January) for the redevelopment of Exeter Bus & Coach Station.
The site in Paris Street is to be demolished to provide a new bus station, retail/leisure mixed use development and Leisure Centre.
The Princesshay Partnership - a collaboration of The Crown Estate and TH Real Estate - is delivering the retail/leisure development, while the City Council is providing the new bus station and Leisure Centre.
Council Leader Pete Edwards said that granting the outline planning permission was a “significant...
Two signed Rugby World Cup 2015 balls will be up for grabs at an online charity auction on Thursday (21 January). Also available to the highest bidders will be three RWC2015 rugby posts, which for the last two and a half years have been situated in locations around Exeter.
All proceeds from the auction will be divided between the Lord Mayor’s charity - which this year is the Exeter Foundation, supporting 19 local organisations and charities across the area - and the ‘BEEP’ Programme, a highly successful RWC2015 Legacy project which helps young disadvantaged people into work and...
Exeter Green Party is urging councillors to reject outline planning permission for the redevelopment of the bus station site, saying the plans are a bad deal for Exeter.
Councillors are due to decide whether to grant outline planning permission at an extraordinary council meeting on Wednesday (20 January).
Greens are demanding that any deal must include a developer contribution towards a new bus and coach station. It was recently revealed that the current developer, The Crown Estate, has pulled out of funding a new public transport hub for the city. Greens also say that the...

As temperatures drop, people living in Exeter and across Devon may be able to get extra help with their heating this winter thanks to a new scheme.
The CosyDevon service, which is operated by a partnership of some councils in Devon, including Exeter City Council, was one of only 20 bids that were successful in securing funding as part of the Government’s £25m Central Heating Fund. The Fund is designed to support local people living in homes that don’t currently enjoy the efficiency and comfort of gas central heating, which is much cheaper to run than most forms of electric heating...
There's still time for people to have their say on whether Exeter introduces a new tool called a public spaces protection order (PSPO) to tackle anti-social behaviour such as street-drinking and the taking of legal highs in Exeter city centre.

The consultation period was due to close on 22 January but has now been extended until 29 February.
Cllr Keith Owen, Lead Councillor for antisocial behaviour, said: "We...
