Exeter’s Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) has organised a free seminar for professionals working with clients of all ages addressing health and well being issues.
The event, on Wednesday 20 November, will showcase the power of cross-sector partnership working to change people’s lives for the better. It will show, through case studies from RAMM and its partners, the positive contribution that museums can make.

Members of Chudleigh Writers’ Circle will share extracts from their latest anthology, Rammblings, which was inspired by RAMM, and afterwards take participants to see the objects which sparked the book.

Meet and talk with local bird experts from the RSPB and join them for a 20-30 minute walk around RAMM to see the wildlife on display and hear news of wildlife conservation.
Using RAMM’s exhibitions and displays as inspiration, this course encourages participants to think creatively about making a basic musical instrument from reclaimed materials using refuse or old clutter.
