Exeter Racecourse concluded its season against the backdrop of stunning blue skies and a plethora of colour as ladies and gentlemen from across the region converged to celebrate ladies night.

Dozens came forward for the best dressed competitions, with Lynne Hailstone from Kingsteignton judged the overall winner.

Ladies’ Night at Exeter Racecourse on Tuesday, May 9 is when the glitz and glamour of racing descend on Haldon Hill. Fans of sport and racing will have an opportunity to join John Inverdale for a night at the races on April 18 when the broadcaster joins the team at Exeter Racecourse.

Flying feathers raise funds for Air Ambulance

Exeter Racecourse’s annual Clydesdale race, which is traditionally held every year on Devon Day, has raised nearly £5000 for Devon Air Ambulance.

The feathers were flying as Dartmoor’s famous racing Clydesdales came thundering down the home straight ridden by professional jockeys last November.

Crowds will be racing to Exeter Racecourse annual Super Sunday meeting on February 12 when a combination of fantastic prize money, top class racing and a terrific savings on pre-booked tickets make it one of the most popular days in its calendar.
