Exeter Round Table’s Annual charity fireworks display is being held at Westpoint again this year.

This spectacular event has grown to become the biggest fireworks display in Exeter, and taken on a new dimension since moving to Westpoint three years ago.

Expect a great fun night out for everyone with fairground rides, food and drink stalls and of course a spectacular fireworks display by Firemagic (UK) Ltd.

Gates open at 5.30pm, fireworks display starts at 7.30pm.

Richard Lane, President of Diabetes UK, will talk about the ground-breaking treatment he underwent to gain control of his diabetes. Richard was among the first people in the country to receive a transplant of insulin producing islet cells in 2005. Following three transplants, he was the first person in the UK with Type 1 diabetes to come off insulin altogether.

Richard will also discuss the work of Diabetes UK, who funded this research vital research.
