The Mastersons debut album Birds Fly South has been enthusiastically received and reviewed - not least in Uncut magazine's 9/10 review in its October 2012 edition. On tour from the US, and also playing in Steve Earle's backing band - where he has been featuring them in his own shows, this is a very eagerly awaited UK tour.

Songwriter Huw and multi-instrumentalist Maartin first met on a Fairport Convention tour bus in 1995. Huw went on to conquer the British folk scene with singing partner Tony Williams until calling it a day in 2002, since when he's been a regular BBC Radio 4 contributor.

The Department for Transport is in negotiations with Virgin Rail Group for them to continue providing rail services on the West Coast Main Line for a temporary period. We first saw the side swept plait in 2010 for Alexander Wang by session stylist and Redken Creative Consultant Guido Palau. He wanted something that was sexy, cool and casual. He added extensions for extra thickness and length and did a simple three strand plait pinned loosely on the side and pulled over the shoulder. Everyone from Victoria Beckham to Cheryl Cole wore this and today there is a great fresh up-to-date version of this original look.
