Varmints is a brand new dance-theatre show for everyone over the age of eight. It tells the poignant tale of one small creature's stuggle to preserve a world in danger of being lost forever. Every day the city grows larger and the noise grows louder, until there is so much noise that no-one can hear themselves think. This exhilarating new show is choreographed by Wilkie Branson (Champloo Dance Company) and directed by Sally Cookson, who most recently collaborated on the brilliantly energetic Christmas show, BOING!

Every year the farm welcomes in spring by throwing open its gates and inviting you to join them for the day.

There are nature walks along the trail to be explored and a straw bale den to play in. Sensational craft activities and storytelling in the orchard with OrganicARTS, as well as the chance to ride our tractor trailer up the farm's hills and valleys to visit the animals.

Hospiscare branches out to caring for the environment

Exeter charity Hospiscare, which provides dedicated expert care and support for local people with a terminal diagnosis, has now added helping the environment to its CV after installing a Biomass boiler through funding from the ScottishPower Green Energy Trust.

The charity, which has been providing care and support to patients and families for 30 years in Devon, has replaced its outdated gas boiler heating system with a modern and environmentally friendly biomass wood pellet system after being granted £25,000 of funding.
