Alan and Andrew invite you to bring your family, friends, horses and dogs to enjoy a walk through the organic orchards and sample the ciders, apple juices and organic wines from 2pm.

Complimentary tea and coffee will be served in the barn, admission is free and there is ample free parking.

Exeter schools warn parents about child abuse image

Schools in Exeter are warning parents about an image of child abuse being passed around via text message and social networking sites.

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection centre (CEOP) has written to Exeter schools alerting them to an image of child abuse which is currently being disseminated via Blackberry Messenger and the internet.

The notification reads:

It has come to our attention that there is a link to a child abuse image currently being distributed via Blackberry Messenger. In addition it is also being distributed via other social networking sites....

Christmas Late night opening in Crediton

A late night shopping evening, organised with the support of nearly all the town’s shops and other businesses, the Chamber of Commerce and the Crediton Courier will take place until 8pm on Friday 7th December.

Many shops will be providing drinks and nibbles. The Crediton Town Band and Mellow D will be performing at various locations around the High Street.

Santa will make an appearance in Evans newsagents and pubs and restaurants will also be open.
