Ollie's month of multiple marathons raises £2300 for Exeter dementia care non-profit

Ollie Price, from Bristol, who grew up near Exeter, Devon, has just completed five half marathons over five consecutive days, followed by his first full marathon less than three weeks later, to raise funds for local dementia care non-profit The Filo Project .

In the last month the 31 year old has run over 91 miles across four half marathons in Bristol and one in Lisbon.

He completed his running challenge with a full marathon on Sunday in Brighton, finishing the course in 3 hours, 53 minutes and 51 seconds.

The world’s longest multi-club football scarf, featuring more than 70 football clubs across England, Wales, and Scotland, has today been revealed to mark the launch of the Kellogg’s Football Camps programme.

An exciting new early years reading programme with stickers to collect has been launched in libraries across Devon and Torbay, aiming to inspire a lifelong love of reading.

Libro’s Friends is an extension of Libraries Unlimited’s hugely successful The Secret Book Quest, which was launched in 2021.

After a couple of years away from Exeter’s Barnfield Theatre, Exeter Scout and Guide Gang Show will make a welcome return to its natural home for their 2024 show.

Taking place from Wednesday 10th to Saturday 13th April, Exeter Gang Show 2024 is packed full of popular songs, dance, comedy and laugh out loud sketches performed by Scouts and Guides from across Exeter and the local area.
