The highly acclaimed Dartmoor Life in the First World War exhibition at the National Park Visitor Centre in Princetown continues until 9 September. Those who visit the exhibition over the next week can also see Belstone’s A Village Vicar Remembers the War which will be running alongside the main display until 1 August.

An innovative art installation goes on show this week to bring alive the greenhouse gases that are causing climate change. Local artist Clare Bryden has been knitting larger than life versions of the particles and making card games. The exhibition, which will be on display from 11-24 July at the Glorious Art House in Fore Street Exeter, is designed to be a playful way of sparking people's interest in the science and issue of climate change.

Growing up between Syria and Spain, Antonio Marguet attributes a childhood fascination with sculpting plastic objects to the influence of his father's bubble-gum factory.
Now based in London, Marguet works at the boundary between sculpture, installation and photography, bringing together a range of interdisciplinary skills to create highly original, unconventional and often humorous objects.
