Exmouth’s new Queen’s Drive Space events area will take on a distinctly Russian theme on Saturday (June 23) with a live performance of The Cherry Orchard which is being staged by the Miracle Theatre Company.
The production is the second in a series of theatre and music events on the new site this summer and the venue is already proving to be very popular with people of all ages.
Last week more than 250 people enjoyed Swan Lake which was streamed live to a big screen in the events area from the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.
Places on the Hospiscare Twilight Walk , taking place on 7 July, are going fast, so walkers – and runners – are advised to sign up soon. Exeter-based developer Grenadier has announced local business, Edge Water Sports, as the new sustainable watersports centre’s first key tenant. Members of East Devon District Council’s Development Management Committee have voted in favour of granting planning permission for the construction of a new water sports centre and facilities for water sports users such as a café, restaurant, retail spaces and car parking at Queen’s Drive in Exmouth.
The development also includes new stepped and ramped accesses to the beach.
