Farmland demand continued to outpace supply in the final six months of 2014, with land prices in the South West rising again to reach £8,438* per acre, according to the latest RICS/RAU Rural Land Market Survey H2 2014.

They joined over 6,400 Devon-based children who have already enjoyed a Farm to Fork Trail in a local Tesco store.
The Tesco Eat Happy Project attended Farm Wise in Devon, an event organised by Devon County Council to educate schoolchildren about the journey their food goes on and its nutritional content. The event was held at the WestPoint Arena, Exeter and started at 9.30am.

The Fire Service received several calls reporting a barn on fire at Clayhidon, Cullompton. Two fire appliance from Wellington, two fire appliances Taunton and the water carrier from Bridgwater attended.
Fire crews confirmed two barns well alight. All stock had been removed from the barns prior to the arrival of the Fire Service. The fire was spreading to an adjacent workshop.
