With temperatures set to reach up to 30 degrees this week, an expert is warning pet owners against the potential dangers for dogs and cats eating food from the barbecue.

According to a 2019 study, one in three Brits feed their pets food directly from the dinner table but barbecue foods in particular can be extremely unhealthy and even dangerous for animals.

Launch of the South West Food Hub CIC

The South West Food Hub Community Interest Company (CIC) is being launched this month to lead a collaborative food community to support the region’s food network to buy local and establish sustainable, shorter supply chains across the South West’s food sector, focusing primarily on public procurement.

Food charity, FareShare South West , has announced that it will now support 5 organisations across Devon & Cornwall with emergency food support in response to the impact of Coronavirus.

Deliveroo and M&S have today announced that customers can now order an expanded M&S Food range on the Deliveroo app, via the Exeter store.

This announcement follows the launch of more than 100 M&S BP Franchise stores in March.

EXETER Communities Together CIC is running a hardship relief project for those facing a tough time due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 pandemic. It is delivering free meals to the elderly, vulnerable, key workers or those struggling financially.
