The East Devon Countryside Team Education Rangers are about to start a busy summer spent outdoors.
Over the summer term the rangers will be running more than 50 visits to East Devon District Council's nature reserves, beaches and other sites across the area, and over 30 of these visits are to EDDC’s Seaton Wetlands site. The Education Rangers will also be involved with the busy Countryside events programme run for local residents and tourists across East Devon.

Explore East Devon with Countryside's Education Rangers over half term
The Countryside team is offering a fun-filled programme of events for children and their families this half term - from splashing in the stream at Honiton Bottom, or digging for worms in Exmouth.
The events aim to inspire children and adults to get out and explore their natural environment through fun games and activities.
All of the events listed cost just £4 per child with a discount offered to East Devon District Council tenants. Places must be booked in advance.
Summer is just around the corner and there’s plenty of fun and adventure to keep the whole family entertained at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth this May half term.
Open from 9am every day, an array of family-friendly activities will be on offer, such as face painting, making a donkey out of modelling clay and creating a bat finger puppet. Furthermore, to celebrate the imminent arrival of The Donkey Sanctuary’s new Bat Beacon this summer, there will be a bat holiday hunt for wildlife explorers young and old.
