Discover the story of Spookley, a square pumpkin in a round pumpkin world. This anti-bullying tale provides the perfect backdrop as we hunt around our very own pumpkin patch.

Compete with pumpkin decorating and treats, our Spookley afternoons are a great way to keep the kids entertained during half term.

Seaton Tramway’s Halloween Week of “Tram of Terror” by Day and “Shock ‘O Horror Zombie Fest” by Night!

Seaton Tramway will be offering spooky family days out in Devon during the Autumn half term from Monday 27 October until Saturday 1t November.

Hallowe'en “Trams of Terror” will run by day during that period up to Colyton for our younger visitors and at night they magically transform into “Shock ‘O Horror Zombie Fest” trams for much “older” children to experience the dark side of Seaton Tramway.

Spooky late-night opening at Knightshayes

Spook yourself silly this Hallowe’en at Knightshayes, on the outskirts of Tiverton, as the National Trust property goes all out with it’s All Hallows Eve celebrations and late night opening on Friday 31 October.

From pumpkins to apples and bats to spooky stories, there will be plenty going on this October Half term at A la Ronde’s popular Apple Day and Hallowe’en Spooktacular events.

Let your kids go ‘batty’ with a free quiz trail from Saturday 25 October until Sunday 2 November. Find the clues around the perimeter walk to solve the anagram and spot the bats hidden along the route. There will also be a spooky house trail all week (normal admission to the house applies).

Clyst St Mary Primary pupils visit Crealy's field of 22,000 pumpkins

Clyst St Mary Primary School children made a very special visit to Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park’s pumpkin field on Friday last week (3 October).

Mrs Herbert and her Year 2 class were transported by tractor and trailer to a secret location where 22,000 pumpkins scatter the East Devon countryside.
