The corpus of pre-Islamic Aramaic magic bowls from Mesopotamia provide us with a wealth of new information regarding the everyday beliefs and practices of the Jewish, Christian, Zoroastrian and Pagan populations, with regard to both mental and physical health.

Andrew Millington has worked in Cathedral music for his entire working life and has been Director of Music at Exeter Cathedral since 1999.
