RLSS UK deploys latest drone technology to support water safety rescues

The Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS UK) is launching the UK’s first water rescue Emergency Drone Piloting Award. The water safety and lifeguarding experts, have partnered with innovative Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and Drone specialists Eagle Eye Innovations (EEI) to create a unique water rescue award, launching this month.

Sixth lifesaving cup for Exeter School

Exeter School has been awarded the prestigious Royal Navy Cup by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Devon Branch for the sixth time in nine years.

This is the second year in succession that Exeter School has received the Cup.

The Cup is awarded for the number of lifesaving awards which include demonstrating confident and skilful rescues in simulated incidents.

Cullompton Community College hosted the Devon and Cornwall Police Families Lifesaving Club awards ceremony to celebrate and recognise the incredible achievements of local young people.
