A 1st Mill visit from one of the UK's most original singer/songwriters. Winner of Singer of the Year in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, as well as Best Album and Best Original Song, Chris is widely acknowledged as a brilliant exponent of the topical troubadour form. Originally trained as a chorister, Chris draws on classical influences as well as his deep love for English folk, and is a master at melding traditional song with contemporary themes. Chris plays the guitar, fiddle and viola, and will showcase his latest critically acclaimed CD None The Wiser.

Otterton Mill is to feature in the brand new series of BBC Two's Celebrity Antiques Roadtrip.
The show, which airs next Monday (4 November), follows celebrity couple Phil Vickery and Fern Britton, as they scour Devon antique shops for treasures that will make them a profit.
The ancient Mill played host to TV cameras earlier this year, when it provided a stop-off point for Phil and antiques expert James Braxton.

A welcome return for Mill favourites Rag Mama Rag. Husband and wife duo, Ashley and Deborah, deliver a barnstorming mix of 20's and 30's Mississippi Blues and ragtime, alongside original compositions. Playing everything from lapsteel and bottleneck guitar, to dobro, ukulele, washboard, harmonica, spoons and African drum, they'll have your feet tapping and a smile on your face from start to finish!
