Oxygen House and law firm Michelmores, based in Exeter, have forged a new innovative partnership aimed at bringing sustainability to the fore in business.

Oxygen House invests in projects which foster social, environmental and economic prosperity. It places sustainability at the heart of its ethos and actively encourages its business partners to adopt this approach. Exeter Chiefs and Exeter College celebrate winning partnership

The wining partnership between Exeter Chiefs and Exeter College has been celebrated, after Exeter College’s U18 team recently won the AASE League for the first time.

Exeter College won the AASE League Championship Final at high-profile venue Allianz Park, London.

More Sunday trains to run between Exeter and Exmouth

Great Western Railway (GWR) will run extra trains on Sundays between Exeter Central and Exmouth from 15 May.

Trains will run every half hour through most of the day on Sundays throughout the year, instead of the previous hourly service; with a number extending to Exeter St Davids. All trains will call at Digby & Sowton, Newcourt, Topsham and Lympstone Village stations.

Morning trains to Exmouth and afternoon trains back will also call at Polsloe Bridge, providing more opportunities for a seaside day trip to Exmouth.

Starcross Primary School held a special launch last week for the publication of “The Seaside Train”, a book celebrating the unique and very scenic Riviera Line which links Exeter, Starcross, Newton Abbot and Paignton.

Forthglade, the Devon based natural pet food company have announced Guide Dogs as it’s leading charity for 2016, with the launch of a Name a Puppy campaign commencing in January.

The new role, created by Exeter Cultural Partnership and hosted by the University of Exeter, offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to implement a strategy that will fulfil the city’s long term ambition of becoming a leading cultural destination.

Eden and University of Exeter sign up to a growing relationship

Two of the UK’s leading education centres, the University of Exeter and the Eden Project, have celebrated their strengthening links with a formal signing ceremony.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by Professor Mark Goodwin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for External Affairs at the University, and Eden Executive Director David Harland was followed by the planting of a tree to mark the continued strategic partnership between the two organisations.
