Pipers Farm closes Exeter shop

This Saturday, 29 October, Magdalen Road will bid a fond farewell to Pipers Farm as the family run company, which has had an active presence on the road for 23 years, has made the decision to focus its entire business online.

Peter Greig of Pipers Farm states they will be leaving with “so many wonderful memories” and “feeling very positive and optimistic about the future of family farming.”

Magdalen Road is a thriving trading community located in St Leonards, Exeter, boasting a variety of independent businesses, including shops, cafes and restaurants.

Devon farmer takes up board appointment

Multi-award winning Devon farmer, Peter Greig, who together with his family, runs Pipers Farm, a 50 acre farm just north of Exeter, has been appointed to the board of Farmers & Fletchers in the City, the official home of The Worshipful Company of Farmers and The Worshipful Company of Fletchers, which also operates as a commercial conference, meetings and private dining venue.

Tiverton and Honiton MP Neil Parish has congratulated the owners of Pipers Farm on winning an award at the Countryside Alliance Awards held in Parliament on the 12 March. Also known as the Rural Oscars these awards celebrate and acknowledge those rural businesses which contribute so much to food production, environmental stewardship and protecting our rural heritage.
