The High Altar at Exeter's Cathedral has been decorated by the sea of poppies which were first seen at Devon County Show 2017, and created by so many wonderful people from Devon.

It was carved from a block of Salcombe stone by Gary Morley who has been a member of the Cathedral’s team of masons for over 25 years. Salcombe stone was originally used in the building of the Cathedral and is still the prescribed material to be used whenever...
The Royal British Legion Poppy Day is on 13th November.
We all know how much and how many depend on The Royal British Legion and a successful Poppy Day Appeal. The need for help is still as great as ever and we need to show our support for all members of the Armed Forces, retired members and their families.
Devon has always given generously. I am confident this year we will all “wear our Poppy with pride” – and with thankfulness.
