X Factor star Shelley Smith to perform at Mama Stones

Shelley Smith is back in Exeter doing what she does best on Friday 11th April when she will perform at Mama Stones.

Shelley has proved she is more than just a flash in the pan since her stint on last year’s X Factor.

She’s appeared on TV shows, performed in and out of the UK and even bagged herself a two week trip to Florida. Shelley said:

X Factor star Shelley Smith performs songs with a funk, soul and rock twist when she returns to the stage in Exeter on Friday 11 April.

Shelley, who appeared on the X Factor last year, has only briefly returned to Exeter since her apperance on the show. She's back to thank all her fans and supporters with a performace at Mama Stones.

Shelley will perform at Mama Stones on Friday 11 April, with the support act show beginning at 10pm.

Exeter Chiefs are excited to announce that X Factor 2013 star Shelley Smith will be performing at this weekend's Heineken Cup encounter with Glasgow Warriors at Sandy Park (3pm).

Exeter-born Shelley, who made it through as one of the 12 contestants to Live Shows working alongside mentor Sharon Osbourne, will be performing live on the pitch at half-time during our latest European fixture.

Bubbly Shelley, a white-van driver from Exeter, entered The X Factor in the hope she could one day make a difference to her and her daughter Madeline’s lives.

Exeter's X Factor contestant saved by judges after shock 'Flash Vote' result

Following the revelation that Shelley Smith, the bubbly single mum and X Factor contestant from Farringdon, Exeter, was going to have to do battle in a sing-off due to the newly established 'Flash Vote', shell-shocked Shelley told Dermot O'Leary on Saturday night: “I’m just going to sing my little heart out and try my best, that’s all I can do. I have so much more to give.”

And sing her little heart out she did, with a powerful rendition of Jennifer Hudson's One Night Only, a song in which she could display the versitility of her voice.

It’s fair to say that #teamTED is going X Factor crazy right now. But who can blame us? Exeter has had its best ever representation in the competition in the form of self taught yodeler Barclay Beales, sultry siren Shelley Smith and teenage sweetheart/rocker Luke Friend.

34 year old Shelley Smith from Exeter became the second contestant to leave this year's X Factor tonight.

Shelley, who has made her mark on the competition with her playful and determined personality, once again found herself in the sing-off alongside Kingsland Road.

Gary and Sharon both opted to save their own acts which put the votes at one a piece while Nicole chose to send Shelley home.

The final judge to reach a verdict was Louis, he would have to vote to send Kingsland Road home to keep Shelley in the competition, but unfortunately decided to send her home....
