Following previous successful Chorister Open Days, Exeter Cathedral Choir is hosting a similar opportunity for children on Saturday 28th November 2015.
This is open to boys and girls between the ages of seven and nine who enjoy singing. It is a great chance for young people to be encouraged and coached by professional musicians in an inspirational setting.
The children will have a great time with the current choristers, rehearsing and then singing with them in the Cathedral. In addition they will have a special opportunity to take part in the annual Christingle Service....
The Cathedral Choir lead our Commemoration of the Faithful Departed ("All Souls' Day") with a liturgical performance of Fauré's Requiem.
All are welcome to attend this act of worship.

An Exeter singing group is set for big changes from this September. Run by Devon music charity Wren Music under their Voices In Common banner, the Exeter Folk Choir VOICES IN COMMON is getting a new look, including a new venue, new songs, and is ready to welcome new members.
The new look choir will be based at the Exeter Community Centre, 17 St David's Hill, Exeter EX4 3RG. The UK’s favourite singing show will be visiting Exeter on Friday 22 May with auditions taking place in Princesshay. Auditions will take place from 9am – 6pm.

Since January 2007, Forever Young have met on most Monday evenings, from 7-9pm, at St Sidwell’s School, York Road, Exeter. In two hours we sing around 30 songs, chosen by singers, from a list of over 600 songs. The national music competition Open Mic UK have announced their singing auditions for Open Mic UK 2015.
