An exhibition of beautiful titanic-size woodcut prints opens this month at our gallery from Friday 20th May. Every single work is swiftly and skilfully crafted by the Pine Feroda collective – comprising of five south west based artists, seamlessly working together in harmony on the north coast of Devon.

Meet all the members of Pine Feroda at the free launch event on Friday 20th May, 5pm-8pm. Formal opening by Chris Chapman, photographer and film-maker. Music by the Serenoa String Quartet.

Survey shows housing crisis deepening in SW

The housing crisis is deepening as concerns mount about the availability and quality of homes, while increasing numbers aspire to own the roof over their head, according to the 2016 Homeowner Survey conducted by YouGov for HomeOwners Alliance and BLP Insurance.

International businesses are postponing investment in Britain in the wake of EU uncertainty a new paper by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has revealed.

SW construction market bucks national slowdown trend

The latest survey by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has revealed that growth in the construction market has remained positive in the South West over the last three months. Private housing workloads showed the greatest increase with 48% more of those working in the sector reporting a rise in activity rather than a fall over the first quarter of 2016. During the last quarter of 2015 that figure was 28%. Two fifths of people in SW confess they get out of breath running for a bus

Over two fifths of people in the South West have confessed to being so unfit they would get out of breath running for the bus, according to new statistics released as part of the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) brand new fundraising challenge MyMarathon. The BHF poll revealed well over half (52%) of adults in the South West said if they went running now the furthest they could manage is just half a mile or less.
