Exeter Corn Exchange has announced details of the new events programme for spring.
Highlights include the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, stars from TV’s Strictly Come Dancing, the Vienna Festival Ballet, comedian Jon Richardson, X Factor winner Joe McElderry and Ruby Wax.
The new season starts with a concert by Elkie Brooks, one of the most successful singers the UK has ever produced on Friday 24th January and that is followed on Tuesday 28th January with Britain’s Got Talent finalists Circus of Horrors with their new gruesome show London after Midnight.
As the Exmouth Festival well and truly got under way all over Exmouth, visitors to Exmouth and residents alike were enjoying some spring sunshine in traditional fashion.
Monday's festivities will include James Bartholomew, Budleigh Ukulele Strumming Club, Falling Trees, and Exeter-based retro indie/shoegaze band whose debut CD ‘The Memories That Hold Us together’, received widespread critical acclaim.

Following the recent good weather spring is finally taking hold at Killerton. The garden and surrounding countryside, after enduring a long winter, have quickly adjusted to the warmer weather almost overnight. Gardeners and countryside team members have been stunned by the sudden appearance of spring flowers and abundance of wildlife in a burst of spring activity.

Exeter Cathedral is the stunning backdrop for a fashion show, showcasing clothes by the renowned designer Caroline Charles, who has a boutique in Exeter. The event will include a champagne and canapé reception followed by a preview of the vibrant spring collection, all proceeds will go to the Cathedral’s Third Millennium campaign. Welcome in spring with a fun day at the farm and lots of activities for all ages!
Every year the farm welcomes in spring by throwing open its gates and inviting you to join them for the day.
There are nature walks along the trail to be explored and a straw bale den to play in. Sensational craft activities and storytelling in the orchard with OrganicARTS, as well as the chance to ride our tractor trailer up the farm's hills and valleys to visit the animals.
You can also tuck into some tasty food at the West Town Farm barbecue.
