Exeter City will be hosting Swansea City in a pre-season friendly at St James Park on Sunday 21 July (kick-off 3pm). It is one of two friendlies currently scheduled at St James Park, and follows another home fixture against Queens Park Rangers on Thursday 11 July. Exeter City are delighted to announce that former midfielder Davie Gibson will be visiting the club shop at St James Park on Wednesday 5 June for a book signing, to celebrate the release of his biography: Gibbo – The Davie Gibson Story. Davie will be available to meet and sign autographs between 5pm and 6pm at his Exeter City book launch. Gibbo’s former teammate Alan Banks will also be in attendance, with other special guests to be confirmed. Exeter City’s Ability Counts team require someone to drive the team minibus on Sunday 19 May, as they prepare to play their final fixture of the season.
The volunteer will be required to donate a large part of their day to help the team. They will need to collect the minibus from St James Park at 8.15am and drive to Tavistock (via King George V Playing Fields on Topsham Road) and will return at approximately 4pm. Someone that is willing to donate their time to help Exeter City’s Ability Counts team – and perhaps volunteer additionally at the event – would be welcomed.

The defence were rarely troubled throughout the fixture, with the Grecians’ best chances coming in the first period – however Jamie Cureton couldn’t quite profit in his personal duel with Gills stopper Stuart Nelson.
