Exeter City’s unbeaten record in 2013 came to an end at the hands of local rivals Torquay United at St James Park as City lost 0-1 this evening (28th January).
After the roaring success of last year’s event, the Exeter & East Devon branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) are once again hosting their Festival of Winter Ales at St James Park this weekend.
The 24th edition of the festival is taking place on the evenings of Friday 18th and Saturday 19th January, open from 11am–11pm on both days. Admission is £2, or CAMRA members can enter for free. Students can also enter for free with a valid NUS after 5pm on Saturday.
Like previous festivals, CAMRA is providing over 60 beers that are produced solely in the winter months....

Exeter City Football Club held its second annual Charity Santa Dash, sponsored by Stagecoach, which ran between the Guildhall in the High Street to the stadium at St James Park.
Ian Sharps’ first-half header was enough to give Rotherham a win against Exeter at St James’ Park. The defender met Ben Pringle’s corner at the end of the first half to score what proved the game’s only goal.
